The Trough Dosing Unit is specially designed as a compact trough connection from a suspended hopper or a direct connection to feed augers.
Use with a storage funnel of Auger outlet.

An alternative to a hopper is the trough dosing unit. This unit is always applied with a winching system. A trough dosing unit can be installed directly underneath an outlet or a storage funnel by means of an outlet set. The trough dosing unit is equipped with a 7-position feed level regulator and feed return valve.

Advantages over hoppers:
– The weight of the (full) storage funnel does not need to be winched.
– Storage funnel with telescopic outlet set does not obstruct longitudinal ventilation.
– For cleaning of the poultry house, the telescopic drop tube and the storage funnel can easily be removed
