Automatic chain feeder cleaner – ‘Automatic flushing for chain feeders’

Red tractor standards state that Feed delivery systems are checked daily for correct performance and Cleanliness and that Feed is palatable (i.e. not stale or contaminated)

The Dalton Automatic chain feeder cleaner is positioned at the return side of the feed hopper. When the feed timers are triggered, the automatic feed cleaner opens, this allows old feed, feathers, shear pin fragments and other contaminants to drop out of the feed tough whilst the feed chain is running. After a pre-set time, programmed by the operator and as the new feed has almost completed a circuit the automatic feed cleaner closes allowing the clean food back to the hopper. The waste from the feed trough can be collected and removed from the bird area, keeping the feed trough full of clean feed.

The Automatic chain feeder cleaner is safe to use, fully guarded and uses 24v supply voltage. A variety of control options are available at extra cost. The price shown is for the cleaner unit and actuator only.
